Care and Cleansing

A SIMPLE GUIDE TO LIVING WITH THE WORK — AND KEEPING IT IN GOOD FORM

To live with something is to care for it.

These pieces are made to be worn.
They respond to touch, movement, and the environments they pass through.

Care is simple. Rhythm over rules.

Daily Wear

PUT JEWELRY ON LAST. TAKE IT OFF FIRST.

Let stone and metal avoid:

  • perfume and hair products

  • lotions and sunscreen

  • Chlorine, saltwater, and cleaning agents

Remove pieces before:

  • swimming or bathing

  • exercise or heavy activity

  • housework involving chemicals

Ongoing Care

CLEANING

Most pieces need very little.

For regular care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wearing

When needed: use a soft cloth with mild soap and cool water; wipe gently; dry fully before storing.

Keep it light. Avoid soaking, especially for porous or delicate stones.

STORAGE

Give each piece its own place.

A soft pouch. A lined box. A quiet drawer.

Store separately to protect surfaces and prevent tangling.

Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight.

TRAVEL

Travel shifts temperature, humidity, and friction.

When packing: use individual pouches;
separate strands to prevent knotting;
carry on when possible

refresh + repair

Strands and hardware may need attention over time.

If you’d like a refresh, repair, or re-stringing, reach out.
