Modern house with large windows and balcony, surrounded by palm trees, with a swimming pool in the foreground and a clear blue sky above.

The Pool Edge

Where reflection begins.

Water gathers attention without asking for it.

At the pool edge, light moves differently. Reflections shift, surfaces change, and even stillness feels alive.

This is a place to notice what friendship mirrors back: not only who you are, but who you have been across seasons, thresholds, and the many versions of yourselves.

Stand close enough to see the surface clearly. Let the water hold the image without needing to fix it.

Some friendships endure because they make room for change. They do not ask one another to remain the same.

Listen to the Meditation

Reflection

What change in each other have you been grateful to witness?

Take a few moments before continuing. Let the answer come simply, without needing to make it complete.

You may keep it private, or share quietly with the friend beside you.
