Most people know The Art of Ceremony through the jewelry, the gemstones, or the experiences we create. But the story began long before any of that—with a little girl who filled her pockets with rocks, a mother who taught her to create with her hands, and a father whose career opened the world. This is the story behind the journey.

 I have been thinking lately about the small things we give the people we love. Not the big gifts. Not the obligatory ones. I mean the quieter things. The things we give because they feel like a gesture of recognition. Because they say I know you. This is a reflection on meaningful objects, everyday companionship, and the little things that stay close.

 There is a particular feeling that comes just before leaving home. Not the lists, the bags, or the logistics. The quieter moment underneath all of that. The stillness of the house. The suitcase by the door. The realization that you are about to step out of one rhythm and into another. This is a reflection on travel, tenderness, and the small rituals that help us leave home without losing ourselves.

Home is not only where we live. It is where we recover, where the day settles into the body, where love is practiced, and where ordinary life either holds us, or doesn’t. This is a reflection on stones, atmosphere, and how to create spaces that feel more supportive, grounded, and alive.

There is a version of purpose that many of us are taught early. It is outward. Productive. Easy to name. A role. A title. A plan. But I do not think that is the deepest form of purpose. This is a reflection on wound, longing, and the life that has been waiting to be recognized all along.

The solstice has always felt powerful to me. Maybe because it is a turning point of light. Maybe because it is also my birthday. Maybe because some of the most meaningful inner shifts of my life have happened around this time. This is a reflection on what the June Solstice means to me, and a simple ceremony for listening to what wants to come more fully alive.
